Ceramic Foam Fiter

Ceramic Foam Filter plates provide an economical and convenient solution for the efficient removal of non metallic inclusions from molten aluminum. Utilizing advanced inorganic membrane technology, these filters feature uniformly distributed micropores with an aperture range of 0.5–5 micrometers, ensuring high throughput filtration while maintaining stable flow. Available in sizes from 7" to 26" and pore densities from 30 to 70 PPI, they are widely used in aluminum casting, refining, and foundry operations to improve metal purity and final product quality.

Designed for durability and ease of use, each filter plate is reinforced with an 8mm aluminum silicate gasket to prevent side leakage and ensure a secure seal within the filter box. The structure offers high strength, resistance to slag shedding, and a consistent open pore ratio for stable aluminum flow. With optional refractory or intumescent wool wrapping, the plates can be heated and installed quickly without damaging the lining. Offering water injection rates of 1200–1500 kg/h·m² and recoil pressure above 0.15 MPa, this ceramic foam filter delivers reliable, repeatable performance for cleaner, higher quality aluminum production.
